Built by Pilots, For Pilots: Your 401(k) Optimization Partner
At PilotYour401k.com, we specialize in helping airline pilots maximize the unique opportunities within their 401(k) plans while building long-term financial security. Our mission is simple: to provide personalized investment strategies and sound financial guidance tailored to the aviation community.
Based in Amarillo, Texas, our firm Kenai Investments Inc. is led by Roger Remling, and supported by his wife, Amy Remling, who serves as our operations and marketing manager. Together, we manage over $60 million in client assets for pilots and families across Texas and multiple other states.

Meet Roger Remling
Roger brings a rare blend of financial expertise and aviation experience to the table. He passed the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) exam in 2009 and has more than two decades of experience in tax strategy, financial planning, and investment management. As a fiduciary, Roger is committed to always putting his clients’ best interests first.
Outside the office, Roger is an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) who owns and regularly flies a Beechcraft Baron 58P and Pitts S2B. His time in the cockpit gives him a unique perspective on the careers, lifestyles, and retirement planning needs of professional pilots.
Roger’s financial philosophy centers on security through portfolio growth—combining disciplined investment strategies with proactive tax and retirement planning. He works closely with each client to design customized portfolios aimed at building, preserving, and distributing wealth in alignment with their goals and values.
